The girls and I have spent many days at home without a vehicle since Landon has gone back to school. Don't get me wrong we have a had blast being home, but today to celebrate we went to the ZOO! We had such a wonderful time! We fed the ducks, rode a camel, bumped into friends and watched the bird show. It was a very enjoyable morning...Mommy and her girls!

They just say things that melt your heart...

E was drawing and said, "Mom, look, look what I can do! " I said, "Wow, you can write the letter T." Her reply, "and a cross for Jesus." She loves her bible class. They memorized Joshua 1:9 God is with you wherever you go. Obviously they talk about this verse in class because she talks about it all the time. Yesterday S went to play outside by herself and big sister reminded her she is never alone and just call out for God and he will be there. Oh my goodness... this girl is getting it! Precious moments aren't they....

My LITTLE Brother's Wedding!

My little brother, Jeff, not so little anymore. He married Jenn on May 17. It was the most beautiful weddings I have ever attended, seen or even heard of. Jenn, my sister-in-law, looked amazing. She was absolutely breathe taking. The whole family was in the wedding! It was neat to be included in the Jewish ceremony. Jeff did a great job breaking the glass! Jeff and Jenn we love you and may God bless you! Jenn we are thrilled to you have you in our family!

Baseball Game

We went to the season closer of the minor league baseball team in town...Go Isotopes! E was looking for the Mariner Moose. (The Moose is the mascot for the team in Seattle Mariners - for those who may not know.) She kept asking, "Where's the Moose?" We love teaching the girls about sports and when to cheer. E got really good at saying, "CHARGE!" Our dear friends came with us!

Nightgown Cuties!

We bought S a nightgown because she wanted to "MATCH" her big sister! The girls love sleeping in nightgowns and they look so precious! Especially the little one! It is just so amazing to see them turning into little girls.

Mirror, mirror on the wall is a new camera in my future?

So I dropped my camera about 1 week after we arrived in Albuquerque. SO SAD! I love taking pictures, editing them and sharing them with family and friends. My friend let me borrow her camera; however, it is broken as well. Although, I count my blessings at least it can still take pictures. Since my camera has gone kaput I have had to rely on others and this wonderful camera; therefore, my picture taking and sharing has slowed down tremendously. Bummer! Oh well, life...it happens!

Special Guests Come for a visit!

Pops (S's Dad) and Grammi (L's Mom) came for E's 4th birthday. It was such a great visit! We had lots of fun and had special moments. We took them to the Albuquerque Botanical Gardens, to the pool, Preschool, L's school under construction and his temporary site. We shared lots of laughs, hugs and kisses. Thanks for coming! We love you and can't wait to see you soon! Y'all come back soon ya hear! (pictures to come)

Preschool

Today was a big day! E had "Meet the Teacher" at her Preschool! She was cute, excited and shy all at the same time. We had so much fun meeting her teachers, finding her name and playing at each center. It was a very emotional moment for Mom! How did we get here? 4 years gone so fast. Next year Kindergarten! How am I going to handle that if I can't even if go to a 30 minute preschool activity? Mom...get it together.

Staying up late

I was dropping the girl's off at P & S house for a sleepover the other day and reminding the girls of the rules. E and I were discussing the sleeping arrangements and how she was going to a have special bed in her best friend C's room. I said, "now it is important to go to sleep and not keep each other awake." She said, "Mom, sometimes we whisper after you leave the room." I asked her, "What do you whisper about?" She replied, "Jesus." Too precious. My heart melted.

Happy 4th Birthday E!

It amazes me my precious daughther that was once 6 weeks premature is now 4! How did that happen! She is a gift from God and we treasure her. She puts a smile on our heart and makes God smile, too.

10 years...

It is amazing to think that we celebrated 10 years of marriage yesterday. Time really goes by so fast. Looking over the past ten years we have shared so many moments together; play-offs, state championship games, children, Church, family, death of a parent and grandparents, new jobs, lay-offs, new cars, vacations, buying a house, the ups and downs but most importantly experiencing God. Thank you L for your sharing your life with me and thank you for being a wonderful father, too! Here's to 50 more years! I hope I look cute old and grey!

Happy 10th Anniversary

Moving on faith!

We moved our family from Seattle, WA area to the Albuquerque, NM area and love it! I was a little concerned leaving our family, friends and church home and yes we are still adjusting to our new life here in NM. However, you can't pass on the call from God. It seems everyday the Lord reveals a piece of His plan as to why Albuquerque? L has been wanting/praying to move back to Texas and his job search for the last seven years was focused there. I have been quiet all these years because I am the one who suggested we move to Seattle. I wanted this next move to be L's decision. In late Feb/early March the girls and I visited some of our best friends Sarah and Philip. I mentioned to L that this was a nice place and they had chosen well. It was amazing to see God at work the next days, weeks and months. L found a job on-line,applied, had a interview and an offer in a three week turn around. All of the sudden we were moving. As the next months went by we asked the Lord, "What is in Albuquerque beside the obvious our friends?" and He said, "You'll See...more than you can imagine!" As the Lord prepared us for this move I was studying the book of Luke he kept revealing the theme of leave everything and follow me (Luke 5:11, 5:27, 9:23, 9:57, 18:22 are just a few.) Verse 9:23 "If Anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me. We did it, moved on faith. Scary because we left our life our, house didn't sell so we rented it, L's contract wasn't finalized, S was ill and many more things. BY FAITH, FOR FAITH!

Our Precious Family

Amazing Swimmer

E is such an amazing swimmer for her age. (Of course, this is my opinion.) She is impresses me every time we swim. We watched the backstroke Gold Medal Olympic race yesterday morning and later that afternoon went to the pool. I noticed she was on the edge of the pool pushing off like a start of a race and doing the backstroke. IMPRESSIVE. A future Olympian?
