In our backyard we have 5 fruit bearing trees. Very cool! The peach tree was the most producing this year and boy did we have peaches!!! It was so neat to watch the tree grow and teach the girls to be patient as we had to wait for them to ripen. The girls did a fantastic job and finally it was the big day...we got to pick the peaches! That was fun! Needless to say we have been sharing the peaches and eating lots of them, too.

that's so neat! I looked into getting 2 apple trees here for our yard but we've been told that because it's so hot here that the trees would produce very little fruit if any, those would be really small. I'd LOVE to have fruit trees in our yard but seems that Texas isn't the best place for it (I didn't look at other fruit trees though....my heart was really set on apples since we eat a ton of them!)
